Even Swindon's Ofsted Report November 2014

EVEN Swindon Primary School is celebrating after achieving its best Ofsted rating yet for its last inspection.

In November, the education watchdog visited the school in Pasture Close, which opened nine years ago, and rated it good in the report, which was published yesterday.

Not only was this a huge improvement on the last inspection in February 2013, when the school was told it needed to make significant improvements, but it is also the first time the school has ever been rated good.

Alison Lowe, headteacher at Even Swindon, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the report.

“It was a well deserved result and a ratification of two years of work that everyone has put in.

“Staff, governors, children and parents have all worked very hard to try and make improvements during that time and it’s great to see that we do now have a good school that serves the local community.”
